Images in this review. Great for HP fans! I do not claim to be an expert in coloring nor do I have much experience with it at all, so excuse my lack of enthusiasm coloring the little details. The pictures I posted are just to show some of the pics in the book. I do like everything about the book, even tho I won’t “waste my time†coloring the frames and much of the surroundings of each picture. Now I did get this a little late, a couple days after the release date but that was okay with me I didn't absolutely need it that day. This coloring book is made of super high-quality paper I'd say about 28lb and gold embellishments make this more "grown up".
There are color pictures towards the end that you can use for reference if you need to. I counted 82 coloring pages and 16 color pages, although I may be off by a page or two. There is a good variety of pattern coloring and portrait coloring. Overall I am so impressed and this is the perfect gift for any potter-heads you know :.

She has pretty much memorized each of the books, she has listened and re-listened to them on CD so many times and read and re-read them several times as well. While she was very excited to receive this coloring book and the illustrations are not bad, buy book review, it definitely is not up to snuff with a lot of the very nice adult coloring books out there, though the price is in line with them.
That being said, with the pictures more simple than some of the coloring books, it is easier for her to actually complete coloring a picture while her children are napping or after they are in bed and it provides lovely relaxing coloring therapy for her, and then allowing her more time for her other more necessary chores.
It’s fun for her to color the familiar people and objects and she has enjoyed it very much. Besides using it for her “me†time, she will also color with her little ones; she, in her book, they in theirs.
The pages in this book are medium paper and the pictures are on both sides, so you do need to watch what you color with. Pencils are best.
